What works here
Enter your own inputs, compare the calculated results, and export a report. You can save one input snapshot in this browser and import or export input files. Examples are illustrative and do not represent live prices, inventory, or customer records.
Clear limits
- This simplified model assumes equal-capacity drives and does not verify NAS bays, drive support, filesystem behavior, snapshots, compression, or backup software.
- RAID improves availability or fault tolerance depending on layout, but it is not an independent backup and does not guarantee recovery.
- No live drive inventory, prices, affiliate catalog, or paid API is used.
Privacy and access
The tool does not require an account or a paid subscription. Calculations, attachments, and exports stay in your browser. There are no active ads, affiliate redirects, or checkout integrations. Optional Cloudflare Web Analytics is loaded only after explicit consent.
